One of the greatest tragedies of our generation is the loss of the Christian mind. A mind formed by God through His word and through His fellowship. One not in sync with this world, but in fellowship with God. A mind equipped to face the Adversary and love even our enemies. God wants our hearts without question, but the mind is the gateway to the heart. Thus, you cannot truly give him your heart without giving him your mind; your thoughts, your opinions, your study, and your way of thinking.
I offer you the challenge God offered to me. “Heed the call of Romans 12:2 like you never have before in your life.” There is power in answering this call. Power to change hearts, power to face the spiritual darkness of our day, and the power to be a help to others. My heart skips a beat to think what that might lead to in 6 months, 1 year, 10 years… or yes, even 10,000 years.
Romans 12:2 (ESV): 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
