If you put a million of the brightest human minds in a room for a million years and gave them the task of writing how man can be made right with God, they would never write the story that God alone has written in the Gospel of His Son. I am thankful for the day many years ago when God penned His Gospel in my heart. That blessed day when I began following the Author and Captain of my salvation. Present days seem dark here for now as grief maintains its awful hold. However, I know that soon the Son will shine brightly and chase away these clouds of darkness and separation when I see Him, and all His children, face to face.
“Father…I surrender these days of grief to you. I surrender those I love to you. I surrender all to you. And yet, I know even this will never repay you for the love you have shown to me, and to the entire world in giving to us your only Son.”
